2nd time up Abineau in two consecutive evenings.
As said by previous Hazzers the top of the trail is certainly the best part of the whole trip!
A lone solitary deer was foraging high up on the slopes of Humphreys near 11,000 ft and reminded of the same scenario Joel and I had during our memorable trip to the cirque.
Since I stayed up top until sunset the remainder of the hike was done at night and in complete darkness since the majority of the trail winds through a very dense tree canopy that lets little to no light shine through.
