| no partners | | | Cold, but pretty nice for this today. One elk bugling on the slope about 1000' below the summit. Very quiet, except for occasional flocks of small birds or the Clark's Nutcrackers. Great visibility, so I basically had the conditions I wanted to to do this today, even if it was far colder than expected a few weeks ago. Really, today felt like how I remember November, not the end of September. Glad I brought my coat! |
