I thought even with a late start that this trail may be doable for me and the pups, but that was not the case, as it was a toasty 85 degrees when we started. I actually took the South Fork Trail on accident when I got to the intersection, but I feel bad enough about linking Deer Creek as it is (but still want credit for those 1.7 miles and 165 feet of elevation gained). I hope to give this one another shot, if it ever cools down in this state, first impression is less than stellar though.
