This was just a little Sunday morning filler on our way home. We had thought about Kendrick until seeing the warning the night before that said the peak was likely to be engulfed in heavy smoke. We realized immediately that skipping on Kendrick was a good idea, as the entire mountain was not visible for most of the day.

This was my first time on this trail and I actually enjoyed it. November is the time of year to hit this trail without the crowds I guess, but I would only recommend it, if you don't mind dead grass and leafless trees. A little chilly along the final push and the false summits still some how trick me, but it was pretty steady going up and down and the dogs enjoyed the cooler weather.
