| no partners | | We thought we would check this one out. Didn't want to do the whole thing, so just went up about 4.2 miles and came back. The actual scenery was just OK, but it was really nice hiking within earshot of the stream for most of the hike. There were alot of different flowers(See photo) in bloom, and we saw a whole range of birds(See photo) that we usually don't see while hiking in the desert. So overall the hike was very nice!
This about wraps it up for the spring hiking season for us. Wife not real big on hiking in temperatures over about 85 degrees. I think I will be able to get her to go on some night hikes here and there, but the bulk of our hiking is done until fall
Still, now the skys are clearing, so that means we are entering prime Astronomy time, so I'll be doing a lot more astrophotogrpahy during the days off. If you are interested, you can check out the pictures here:

Scan down to the lower section of the page for the Deep-Sky images, that's mostly what I am doing these days. Feel free to email me at jtyrep2020@ArtCentrics.com if you would like to be added to my email distribution list to see the latest photos. |
