If you're considering checking out the fall colors at Pinto Creek Canyon, you'll want to go soon. It's just about perfect right now and almost none of the trees have been blown out yet. This is such a cool place. Very diverse and scenic. The creek is not running across the road. It may be running above ground further downstream. That's typical in the fall. Late spring is best for running water.
