My dad and I went fishing at Canyon Lake on Saturday. The fishing sucked but the bighorn sheep viewing opportunities were amazing. We saw two separate groups, both with large rams. The rams behavior indicated that the rut is coming soon (or ending soon). The first group came right down to the lake. It looked like they were thinking about it. We just hung out for about thirty minutes. It worked out perfect.

Sheep are just so majestic. It's amazing to watch them at such a close distance. Ha.. Where in the country can you fish and watch bighorn sheep at the same time? Very cool.
