Insecure and negative infected minds protochastise and beat me with their words. In a sick bonding of their fears they will undoubtedly classify my enjoyment of this event as competitive relaxation. Yawn and move on...

Last year we hit Pinto on the 25th. Autumn foliage was a week past prime. This year a week earlier it was barely knocking on the door. For reference, up until a week ago summer was finding it difficult to part ways.

It started out nippy. Warm clothes work in these conditions, especially when the air within the layer of gases surrounding planet Earth is calm. Along the way it was nice to see old friends and watch the sun dial low in the sky. Nothing beats napping on a chilled boulder in the warm sun of Autumn. To this I say party on ivy, party on creeper. We shall return.
