| no partners | | Had other big aspirations for the weekend but woke up Sat morn feeling like someone had stuffed cotton in my head. However did not stop me from hitting up Goodwill 50% off sales, scored North Face zip offs for 4.99 and Columbia zip offs for 2.99.
Had to do something, so to this old favorite. Late for most of the trees. Some flooding has rearranged some of the river bed below the bridge. Forgot how fierce the catclaw is for some rock art site ( not the main signed site).
Got my boots soaking wet, and found some cool slag. The graffiti bridge seems brighter and definitely more stuff. Walked down the creek bed, up and over a hill filled with thorny vegetation, and into the creek bed, over to the old railroad bed and back, touring the mine areas again.
Good day, still feel like my head is full of cotton. Don't have time for this. Too much to see and do.
Oh, and shout out to Big Agnes. I pulled apart a Helinox trekking pole I like for back packing. Light but more sturdy than the spindly Leki and Black Diamond, both of which I have destroyed. Their customer service was exemplary, I paid for shipping but they charged me nothing for the repair and good turn around time.
