I decided to test out my cold weather tolerance by hiking Humphrey's Peak in shorts and without a shirt. My tolerance for cold temperatures is pretty high. I never wear a jacket.

I wasn't too cold until I got close to the summit. At the summit, my brown adipose tissue was in full swing. My hands felt frozen, and I was shivering hard, but was able to warm up fairly quickly and hike down.
