Flatiron Hike - Superstitions

With the cooler than normal temperatures in the VOS, this seemed like a good day to hike up to Flatiron and Peak 5024. We started and ended this hike at Lost Dutchman State Park.

We began the hike at 5:30 AM and we did not encounter any sun until we got up on top of Flatiron.

I was surprised that there were not very many people on the hike on this day, especially with the relatively cool temperatures. There was nobody else atop Flatiron or Peak 5024 while we were there.

The views atop the peak are awesome, and imho if you go to Flatiron it is well worth taking the short side trip up to Peak 5024.
