| no partners | | | Traveled counterclockwise from the trailhead nearest KA Hill. It was 85F and 15% humidity, 15-30mph wind. Trail was in good shape. Flower observations minimal. No water over falls, and what water I did see was stagnant. Saw a herd of +50 sheep bedded down in the creek near old sawmill site -- could smell them from a mile away. Even though the forest had Stage II fire restrictions, saw people driving their quads off designated routes and heard firearms discharge several times. Overall, nice day for one of my favorite hikes in the area. |
