finally got out to do this hike that has been on my list for years.

warm day so i started on the early side. went CCW and up KA Hill first. first few miles are just easy hiking through the woods.

right when i got to the beginning of rim country, i saw 2 bald eagles! both of them cheeped at me lol.

took the side trip out to the pomeroy tanks and saw some frogs and lily pads! really cool. also tookk the side trip out to the dry (but still worth seeing) sycamore falls. great views along the rim. as i started heading back west to close the loop there was running water which really surprised me. hot but tolerable at this point - thankful for a nice breeze.

great quick getaway to williams area and out of the tucson inferno
