| no partners | | I decided to take the long way home from a trip to the west side of the Chiricahua Mountains and avoid a lot of time on I-10. I had not been over Middlemarch Pass in the Dragoon Mountains in a long time, so this was a treat. I forgot how much fun that road is, though heavy rains in the last week worked over sections, especially on the flats west of Pearce. Stopped in Tombstone for a meal, then headed home by way of Sonoita. 
The drive didn't disappoint, with the Dragoon Mountains looking fine in late summer green! Thank you monsoon.  |
