| no partners | | I enjoyed seeing this area for the first time. The drive in was easy on good road (paved to the petroglyph site). There is one major crossing of Three Rivers, which is normally dry in this section, but would be problematic when big rain events occur. Three Rivers actually flows full time down the mountain and past the campground, before disappearing into the sands somewhere near the ranch. A brief very light rain shower occurred in the afternoon, but otherwise it was dry and pleasant. After morning coffee and some exploring, it was time to head back home (about 380 miles). |
