| no partners | | | I started from First Water Th and did a variation of the Marsh Valley Loop, Lower La Barge Box Loop and FW to Charlebois. I went in Second Water Trail,over Boulder Canyon Trail to La barge Canyon, Through Lower La Barge Box, down Calvary Trail to Dutchman and up to past Charlebois Canyon to the junction of Dutchman and Peters trail. I returned on the Dutchman Trail using Bull Pass to save a mile. I ran into a few hikers/campers and the trails were in good shape as Supes trails go. The most excitement was walking up on a Zone-tailed Hawk nest. The hawks kept circling and making noise. It was quite a show. If they would have just kept quiet I would have never know there was a nest nearby. I stopped by the master map for a picture and cruised back to the TH. |
