I took First Water to Second Water to Boulder Canyon trail. I then went across the south end of Battleship and up the La Barge Box. I didn't find a trail until I was almost to the Calvary- Dutchmans intersection. From there I took Bull Pass over to the Dutchmans and back to First Water. The Prickly Pear were putting on quite a show with blooms everywhere. The Saguaro's are just budding.I did see a few nice water holes.There were lots of lizards, butterfles,birds,and a few snakes. I did come across one Rattler comming out of La Barge and I think it was a Hawk screaming at me until I got away from the next little canyon.Great hike. I don't think I would do it in any warmer temps.
