I took a day off and decided to hike up on Geronimo Head to look around. The new pavement on SR 88 is nice and smooth and the drive easier. The trail up to the fragile rock arch is easy enough to follow but I would rather take the off trail route up from Tortilla Creek. I ran into DixieFlyer and Tracie hiking up beyond the arch. We parted ways as I went up toward the Geronimo Head ridge and they continued up the wash. The hike around the ridge was nice and I hit the highest four points on the way around. A nice day to be out on the trail.
