| no partners | | | Went to Panorama Peak with a few friends. Drove to the big wash on FR10?? south of the gate on SR88, then struck out east for a high saddle. Over the top we looped as best we could CCW on the ridge but soon found ourselves dropping down to cross a wash/canyon and then back up to the ridge between Dome mountain and Panorama. Made it there for lunch and then continued our CCW loop for a bit. The terrain once again forced us down off the ridge and we basically bee-lined back to the original saddle and back down to FR10. Not a bad hike for vegetation, yes most of us were a bit bloody on arms but that's to be expected off trail. Good workout for the distance and the view is pretty good. |
