Headed out to the Superstitions, wanted to hike with snowy views. My initial plan was the Broadway trailhead, but the parking situation wasn't letting that happen. I ended up at Hieroglyphics trailhead. Went out on Lost Goldmine a ways and then turned back. Was a great day, first time on this section of trail. Was sunny, good weather, clouds were covering the peaks. Many small water crossings.

I like to give parking lot reports. I arrived at about 9am and the lot was 50% full. When I returned it was 115% full. Cars were blocking in other cars, there were several cars waiting for spaces, and the road out had at least 5 cars parked there directly in front of the no parking signs. On my hike I think I saw 4 hikers, probably the same amount of mountain bikers once I got out into the goldcanyon system. I can only imagine the crowds out on hieroglyphics!
