I really enjoyed this trail, I think its a nice fit for mountain bikes. most of the climbs are short and spread out so it makes for some enjoyable riding in both directions. I was surprised how many times you cross a road, but not a huge deal. Trail conditions were good and the weather was perfect. Almost all the little creek crossings had water flowing. The biggest crossing, as seen in my photos, is a nice little resting area. Talked to a local biker who rides there often and he said that was the most water he has seen flowing at that spot. It was nice hearing the water too as the trail sometimes parallels the creek.
Hope I'm not posting too many bike reports, all my hikes have been city hikes that I do aften and I just don't post those. I always like logging a new one to me like this. |
