| no partners | | What a fun hike this one was! In fact, it was one of the most enjoyable and satisfying hikes that I have ever done.
The scenery was not quite as good as hiking Uncompahgre, but it was pretty darn close. There was great scenery all the way to near the summit, and then that is where the fun began. There was some route finding and rock scrambling, and the final climb to the summit was a definite class 3 climb -- but there was no exposure however.
I would definitely hike this one again...and for strong hikers you could also bag Matterhorn Peak on your way back. |
