I was looking for a nice hike in some cooler weather, and decided to head up to Bear Canyon Lake. We started and ended the hike at the See Canyon TH. Once at the Rim Road, we took an off trail shortcut to get to FR 208, and took that to the Bear Canyon Lake Trail, which leads down to the lake.

There was a healthy volume of water in the lake, and there were very few people there. This is a very pretty lake imho, and it is something of an undiscovered gem.

On the way back we took a short trip up to See Spring.
