I went up to Mingus Mountain today to see if there was any fall foliage -- unfortunately there was essentially none. There might have been a bit more color on the north slopes of Mingus as compared to the south slopes, but if you go up there looking for some fall color right now you'll be disappointed.

We did see a couple of deer just as we started down the Coleman Trail -- a doe and a fawn.

Autumn Foliage Observation Isolated
There was essentially no fall foliage to be seen. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a couple of weeks before you see very much. There were hardly any leaves that had changed color, but there were a few; that is I why I described the foliage as "isolated" instead of "none".
