| no partners | | Quick little stroll exploring the southern rim of this massive, beautiful and rugged canyon.
Came across two bulls within forty yards before they trotted away, them and many other bulls spent the evening screaming and bugling which is always a treat to experience this time of year.
Hiked down to a sweet little cliff overlook and watched the setting sun glow and dance off the near vertical southern walls of “The Pocket”.
Bear and panther scat all around as it is prime country for them but no visual sightings.
Made it back to the truck just after dark and even threw on a long sleeve shirt with refreshingly crisp fall air abound. |
