| no partners | | Off to check out a couple of bumps and some view points into Calf Pen Canyon.
Most of this is off trail and relatively easy walking.
First up peak 6489. Easy walking with some good views up top.
6262 is next and I wanted to get out to the end of this point. This was the thickest flora of the day. I made it to the top of 6262, but it was time consuming attempting to find paths through the manzanita. I gave up the push for the point and there were limited views from there.
I started making my way north and east, popping out to the rim every now and then to take in the views to Calf Pen Canyon.
The 3rd bump of the day, was Peak 6911. This was the steepest climb of the day, but still not bad. I had no views from this tree covered mound.
I made my way back, hitting some 2 track and more off trail travel. Breezes kept the temps ok. It was 91 when I finished.
