My first time hiking on Mt. Shasta was incredible. I couldn't believe how few people were on the trails today, although I did pass by several groups. There are many wildflowers on this hike that goes through meadows and ends by some beautiful springs with more colorful flowers. There was also sweeping views into the trinity wilderness area.
