| no partners | | I moved to Broomfield, CO in February so I've been beginning to learn about the area and find places to explore. The amount of people here getting outdoors is a lot greater than where I was in northern CA, but this trail wasn't crowded. This was my first drive into the mountains and while I didn't drive too far it was already becoming very scenic very quick as I gained elevation on the road, driving past many bicyclists. I got the Moderna vaccine on Friday and had a headache and fatigue yesterday, but was feeling much better today so I decided to do this short introduction hike. The trail was beautiful with some snow but not too much left. There were sweeping views, large rock formations, and a nice rocky creek. Bikes are allowed on this trail so I'll have to revisit with my bike when the snow melts and do the full loop. |
