| no partners | | | I met my friend from Chico at the south visitor center--it's an equal driving time from Redding and Chico. We carpooled up to Bumpass Hell Trailhead which was quite crowded this holiday weekend. We hiked through Bumpass Hell to cold boiling lake and continued on to Mill Creek Falls before completing our journey back at the visitor center parking lot. Mill Creek Falls had a lot less water than our last visit, but it was still flowing nicely. It was fun to do a one way trail like this that was mostly downhill! Lassen is often a great destination when Redding is too hot and smoky from wildfires. |
