wanted to get up north for some fall color
john hadn't done this hike, and it seemed like prime time this past weekend
got going around 0730 in 40 degree temps
went clockwise this time, up bear jaw, west on waterline and down abineau
aspen colors were mixed: some light greens, some almost orange, some past prime up higher
windy and cold at the waterline/abineau intersection so we didn't stop
nice to do this one again; thanks for agreeing to the long drive, john
