hit john up to hike mt. wrightson this morning
left town at 0400
nice sunrise on the drive down
started hiking around 0630 or so
cool temps and a shaded ascent
good workout at 4000 feet elevation gain in just over five miles
spent about 30 minutes on the summit
it was cool, calm and quiet with some high clouds and we had it to ourselves for quite awhile
this is one of my favorite arizona hikes - a classic
great views of surrounding mountain ranges
decided to return on old baldy instead of the super trail this time
more people coming up as we descended
stopped in tucson at taqueria juanitos - good street taco combo :)
