My plan was to start at See Canyon parking area and go two miles east on the Highline trail and back. There is a Maple area there and I was looking for reds. A quarter mile into my hike and I see my first Red. It's Dallin and his partner (Kate) I believe :D ! Talked for a few minutes and they headed west. They started at 260 trailhead and were doing the whole Highline Trail :o :app: . The Maples were not in their prime but there was still some nice color mixtures. Turned around at my two mile mark and wandered around the parking area when I got back to see a few more colors. :y:
