I got an early start. I wanted to beat the heat. We don’t get along! I had no direct sunlight on me until the last little hill before dropping into the creek. The trail is in great shape. There is one tree that fell across the creek and is blocking the east side of the pedestrian bridge by the spring. Weather was great!! I saw 2 cow elk and what I think was a pinkish caterpillar . Oh, and lot of birds. One dived at me twice by the section with lots of Maples. Not sure what it was. Enjoyable hike!
