This was a foliage hike from See Canyon TH east on the Highline Trail towards the 260 TH. After the foliage around See Canyon TH (especially the parking lot area that was at Peak and spectacular) the second major canyon you go up at about 1.4 miles from the See Canyon TH is a great foliage area all the way up the Canyon.

Autumn Foliage Observation Substantial
Foliage was past peak but still great. This area usually can be better tha See Canyon, but not this year. Many maples went to yellow with only a few red. Colors were pastel. Best colors and foliage were only the old trail (now closed and 'hidden') that stays close to the creek bed all the way up.
