With the Steeler bye week and cooler weather, I had an oppurtunity for a bonus hike with the family. I looked on the HAZ map for hikes in this area and found this. I never knew these were here. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy the trails were to follow and how nice the scenery is back here. Found quite a few spurs along the way so there's plenty more to explore here. We did the loop counter clockwise, heading up the wash first and walking back through the grassland. We skipped the connector trail in the middle of the loop. The views up into the Goldfields to the northwest were the best with the morning lighting. Evening light might give some better views of Superstition Mountain.
