I hadn't been out to this area in well over 14 years or more, so it seemed like a good time to go back. Hiking these trails was like doing them for the first time again, I can barely remember them from before. I hiked the one spur at the top of the east hill that isn't on the map. Saw a fire off to the east a bit which made a lot of smoke that hung in the air and drifted through the valley. It was interesting to see the surrounding mountains from a different perspective and try to pick them out.

I was intending to get a little more mileage in, but the rocky trails tended to slow me down some. I think I hiked uphill faster than I did on several level and downhill sections.
