| partners | | | spent the valley's version of a "white christmas" over in the hiding secrets found in Turk's backyard! what a mystical, eerie sky held out for the first hour let loose a little on the final push up the canyon. so we stopped at a 250' long cascade in a perfect lunch spot and admired the scenery. someone packed a 12' aluminum ladder to (what appears to be) access a couple of caves up in the rock face. after spending a bit of time at the falls, hopped from side to side in the creekbed to make our way back to the car. spotted a familiar puppin' dog.. Blanco! chatted with friendofThundergod for a bit, then scarfed down a couple well deserved donuts before the drive home. always did like off trail, the rain and fog made it more interesting - but was glad to get home to a hot shower ;) |
