Intended to make this a mountain bike / backpacking trek through a shallow canyon, so I rode my bike about 4 miles and stashed it amongst the bushes and proceeded to hike half a mile through a lightly overgrown canyon to the base of some cliffs below Dome mtn. where there is a seasonal waterfall. Unfortunately even though I carried all my overnight gear the only water I saw was a small puddle filled with mosquitoes. Decided to call it, returned to my bike and ride back down Bulldog Canyon to my car. It was a nice ride and saw a few jeeps and razors here and there but not too crowded. Tons of cars along the Bush Highway though. A nice little Nine Mile Excursion into the Goldfields, which never disappoint!
