Roger's Son Brett down from SD for the week and wanted a couple of short hikes. We took him over Usery Peak 2972, stopped by HAZ's Jeep, they used to use for Ubber Rides to the various Trail Heads, Joe had turned it in as stolen, but the Police still have no leads, and the Insurance wouldn't pay the claim, and all of our Members have everyone's back so that's the story of why we now have to find our own way to the Trail Heads. Went up and said Hi to Crazy Horse then to the old Mine. Looked around no nuggets, went NW to the next ridge over and walked NE on the Wild Horse Ridge. Came up on the Coin Cairn and then further on another Coin Cairn, remember one of the HAZ'ers saying he put the 1st one down so in case his kids would never be broke, but had to get up on the Ridge to find it.

Interesting Hike, seen a big Deer jumping along to get over the next wash so we couldn't take a picture, Roger thought it was a Jackrabbit --- Brett and I just looked at each other and kept on hiking
