| partners | | | Evening hike with the kids. Nearly full parking lot at nearly 6:00pm, but we didn’t see anyone after the first half mile. Went to the Ruins first, so the kids could play for a while, then headed up Gila to the saddle. From there, we took the connector up to Bursera, then over to the high point of the ridge. Got some night pictures, then headed down Bursera back to the trailhead. Saw lots of spiders, scorpions, centipedes, nighthawks, and one gecko that my daughter picked up without hesitation. Empty parking lot by the time we finished. |
