| no partners | | Took another stroll down into the Canyon with a new hiking friend, neighbor Brenda. Worked on her trail navigation as she's more accustomed to well defined, markered trails.
Light flow/trickle and some small pools of water. N8trdog alerted us to a lot of activity in the canyon and advised us of the group of piggies bedded down near the trail.
Nice steady stream out of the spring, deer meadow was green, bees near spring again. More deadfall than last time but nothing impassable or climb-overable.
Bit warm but not unbearable. Saw only 2 others as we neared the vehicle, on their way in. Social distancing was at work so we kept our greetings brief. |
