| no partners | | | No drive today so did this from out the back door to the sound of howling coyotes. Hiked from east side of Silly Mountain to west side of Dinosaur Mountain using neighborhood washes and trails constructed or use created. Was able to stay off pavement most of the way except crossing Superstition Mountain Drive and Don Donnelly. Only saw a few other exercisers mostly on the closed dirt road leading up from Mountainbrook Village. Finished up by 0800 so it wasn’t too warm , saw one rattlesnake, many rabbits and lizards, the deer herd on the Gold Canyon golf course were not not seen. No wildflowers but various trees and cacti including saguaro are blooming. |
