| no partners | | back at the beginning of february, while i was taking an after dinner walk while traveling for business to dallas, i stepped off a curb and landed on my face. when i got up, something wasn't right, and i grabbed a lyft back to my hotel and had a whiskey before nodding off to sleep. in the morning, i knew that i would not be able to wear the heeled boots that i had planned, and wore my tevas. after four hours of meetings, my left foot had swollen significantly and i decided to go to urgent care. long story short... i broke my fifth metatarsal and wasn't able to be load bearing for two months post surgery. i recently started walking again, and this little walk around the fence at humbolt mountain signified my first steps on uneven ground. so yes, i've been lurking. i missed spring with all of the zillions of flowers. i've been wondering how you all have been surviving without baseball. and i've had to live vicariously through you. |
