second time out here this season. it's always so nice to get out of the heat of phoenix, but it was still quite warm during the day. it was really cool to put on a sweater when the sun went down though, if even for just a little bit.

saw some firefighters. caught some fish (we've been having really good luck out here this year!). drank some beers. good times.

i got so excited to see the penstemon. this time of year doesn't yield much color.
