Still not sure what went wrong. Oh well, we improvised and limited bloodshed and bitching to Level-3. My name was cursed more than once.
Glad we went counterclockwise though, hitting the mushroom and spring early on before getting torn up. Sunday is probably nicer here because of all the roads. Weekdays would be best. I would guess summer Saturdays to be a dust-filled rzr parade. It would be nice to see the FS block off some of these user-created two tracks.
On a positive note, we saw a harras of horses, who while quieter than vehicles, still kicked up the dust. Duncan and Hicks were nice, but I'll spend more time getting to know Tom. An excellent intro and a potential burgeoning friendship.
Despite knowing a second cabin exists, six people on the lookout came up lame, unable to match Kathy's eagle eyes. Oh well.
No shortage of trash, and especially toilet paper adjacent to the camp spots we passed. I don't know if it's correctable behavior, or just a lost cause. It saddens me.
In a substitute game of rock-paper-scissors, how would the triumverate of poisonivy-catclaw-rattlesnake be ordered? |
