Spent a pleasant afternoon on Knoll Lake, enjoying the peace and quiet, paddling and swimming. I watched two pairs of osprey doing some impressive fishing, and often chased a pair of herons from their perch where they appeared to be courting. The water level was pretty good for the start of the monsoon, down just about 4 feet from full pool.
