| no partners | | Picked another great day to be on the mountain. With construction on the road to Sunrise after the White River campground, we opted for a hike to Glacier Basin. No bears this year but lots of goats and picture perfect blue skies. Arrived at the day use parking lot around 9AM and there were still spots. A few spots when we left around 2PM as well. Saw a fair amount of people on the trail but it felt less crowded than in previous years. Hiked a little further up the unmaintained trail past Glacier Basin and saw about 6-8 goats which was cool. Enjoyed watching them while we ate. |
