| no partners | | Started out at Meridian TH at about 6:30 AM. The parking lot was almost full and temps were in the low 90,'s. I headed clockwise and the trail was free of people until the Wind Cave junction. From here to the turn off for the Pass Mt Summit trail things denigrated into a cluster of what Camelback or Piestewa looks like after work on a weekday. People were courteous enough to move aside as I passed and about 50% of the people responded to my greetings.
Pass Mt Summit was easy to find with the blue dots and arrows. The views are great and I had the trail and summit to myself.
Continued the Pass Mountain loop clockwise and only ran into 4 people. The final couple of miles were a bit warm. |
