Started by 0445 and headed up the Ruins trail. Side trip to 2197–no rattler this time. East on National, then down Lost Ranch Mine. Just before reaching the beehive in one of the mines, I turned and took one of the spur ridges down. Easy off trail, there’s a faint path almost the entire way. It heads towards the ruins, so I ended up back on the Ruins trail at the bottom. Great temps and breeze almost the entire way. Used a headlamp until 0545. Not very many people out, even when I finished.
