| no partners | | | Our family trekked up I 17 to get in some fall scenery. After a stop at Coco's in Flagstaff we headed up to Hart Prarie Road. We stopped at the pullout where other cars were parked and I walked around with my camera. It seemed evident that we were about a week late. Many trees had dropped all of their leaves already. so I had to work hard to come up with some decent pictures. We started further along the road and the areas where there would be aspen with leaves lining the road were not there. shortly afterward we turned around as the road became to rough for our sedan. We went back to 180 and headed up the road to Snow Bowl. Aspen Corner looked like it had some good spots but there was no way I was going to try to park in that mess on a Saturday. We turned around at the entrance to the Snow Bowl and headed back down. We had lunch in Williams then headed home with a short stop at the Pumphouse county Nature Area to satisfy my curiosity as to what it was. Not Much. |
